Premier League representatives have set a trial date for Man City for allegations of violating the Financial Fair Play Law.

In February last year, Man City was hit with 115 allegations of violating the Financial Fair Play Act in 14 seasons, starting from 2009-10. Immediately, The Citizens denied all accusations and asserted that there was “irrefutable evidence” to prove innocence.

A few hours ago, Premier League CEO Richard Masters said the trial date for Man City had been set. However, he refused to reveal the specific date.

Afterwards, Richard confirmed that the nature of the allegations against Man City was different from the allegations against Nottingham and Everton. Previously, these two clubs were also accused of violating financial rules. They face the risk of having points deducted this season if found guilty.

“It is necessary to understand that the nature of the two cases is completely different. If any club, whether they are current champions or not, are found to have breached spending rules in 2023, they will be in exactly the same position as Everton or Nottingham.

I just want to say that the date for the hearing on the Man City case has been set. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what day it is. However, it came very close,” Richard Masters declared.

At the beginning of the season, Everton was fined 10 points deducted from the Premier League rankings for violating Financial Fair Play. For their part, Man City faces similar or more severe penalties such as being stripped of Premier League titles, demoted…

According to British media, if the hearing takes place as scheduled, the final decision on the Man City case will be made in the summer of 2025. However, in case The Citizens appeal, the case will be can last longer.
