According to Stretty News, Manchester United will be without a total of five players for their away match against Brighton in the second round of the Premier League 2024/25.
United started their Premier League campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory at home against Fulham. The win came thanks to a late goal from new signing Joshua Zirkzee in the 87th minute, securing their first three points of the season.
Following the win over Fulham, United faces a tough challenge away at Brighton, a team that has posed difficulties for them in recent seasons. Brighton also impressed in their opener with a 3-0 victory over Everton.
Brighton is confident about their chances against United. As reported by Stretty News, United will be missing five players for the trip to Brighton.
Victor Lindelof is unavailable due to a toe injury. When asked about Lindelof, manager Erik ten Hag revealed: “He has an issue with his toe and will not be available this weekend. Tyrell Malacia, Rasmus Hojlund, and of course Luke Shaw are also out.”
With these absences, including two left-backs, Diogo Dalot will continue to fill in at left-back. Matthijs de Ligt will partner with Lisandro Martinez at center-back, while Noussair Mazraoui will take up the right-back position.
