Juventus has significantly reduced the asking price for Federico Chiesa to around £12 million, according to Sport. This comes as a surprise given that the club previously valued the Italian player at £50 million.

Coach Thiago Motta has confirmed that Federico Chiesa is not part of his plans and has repeatedly left the player out of the squad. With only one year left on his contract, Juventus is eager to sell Chiesa as soon as possible to recoup some of the investment.

This drastic price cut has attracted interest from several top clubs. Liverpool is actively negotiating to sign Chiesa and has a significant advantage due to their participation in the Champions League. In addition to Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Barcelona have also shown interest in the winger.

Chiesa had a strong season with 12 goals in 25 Serie A appearances last season. However, he did not perform at his best during Euro 2024. Liverpool could be the first to secure Chiesa’s signature in this transfer window, especially with Barcelona facing financial difficulties, giving the Reds an edge in the deal.
