In an update on Manchester United’s transfer activities, journalist Fabrizio Romano has shared new insights on GIVEMESPORT.
As previously reported, Manchester United has made significant progress in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Manuel Ugarte. Romano has now confirmed that after finalizing the deal for Ugarte, the Old Trafford club may still bring in another new signing at the last minute.
The Italian journalist stated:
“Regarding other transfers, it will depend on the situation. There is a possibility that some players might leave, so there could be room for something to happen at the last moment for Manchester United. Nothing is confirmed 100% yet, so Manchester United will decide this week based on opportunities. But I will always keep the door open for last-minute chances.”
Earlier, The Athletic reported that Manchester United still wants to sign a central striker this summer. They do not consider Joshua Zirkzee as a true number 9 and are seeking a more traditional striker, with Ivan Toney being one of the names on their radar.
