The Brazilian prodigy reflects on his debut goal for Real Madrid.

Endrick made a remarkable debut for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. In his brief time on the pitch, he scored, becoming the youngest foreign player to score for the club in La Liga and alleviating much of the pressure and criticism he has faced in his still-short career.

“Certainly, everyone is pleased. We played here with my family watching, and we won 3-0. With my family here, they know how hard I have worked and how much I have endured. They have also had to endure, and everyone criticized me—my family, my girlfriend, everyone. We have all been through a lot, and… this moment is wonderful,” Endrick shared on Real Madrid TV after the match.

The forward, who had previously scored at the Bernabéu in a friendly between Brazil and Spain in March, expressed his satisfaction with his contribution: “I am very happy. This is a dream coming true. I had played at the Bernabéu with the Brazilian national team and scored, but not with Real Madrid.”

“Today is my debut with Real Madrid. I have no words to describe it, only to thank God for everything happening to me. I always try to win for the Brazilian people, but now also for the Spanish people, and I always want to deliver performances that they can enjoy.”

Despite being a newcomer, Endrick clearly stated what he can offer: “I am very happy to be alongside players I used to see only in video games; it’s very important to me. The first thing I told Ancelotti when I spoke with him was that I have talent and am always working hard.”

“I will continue to work and do what God has planned for my life. I will make mistakes but will also succeed. I am very happy and excited to be here. Players like Bellingham, Vini, Rodrygo, and others… we will be together for a long time, and I will be here working hard and waiting for my opportunity. I have a lot of faith in the coach and will be patient.”
